As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I draw from a range of therapeutic perspectives and personalise sessions to take into account your way of being and circumstances. This approach emphasises our individuality, wholeness, and the tools different therapies can provide.
At its core, my practice is person-centred. My goal is to help connect you more deeply to yourself, your values and a life that feels, for you, more in keeping with who you are.
My style of therapy has roots in embodiment, compassion, creativity, and attachment, and the following principles:
- Mind and body are connected
- Self-compassion relieves shame
- Creativity supports self-expression
- Our early relationships shape our emotional responses in adulthood
It is important to me to work relationally. I believe the therapeutic relationship is crucial and that our dynamics ‘in the room’ can provide insight into how we each relate ‘out there’ in the world.
